Galatasaray were held to a 1-1 draw by Istanbul Basaksehir at home at the weekend in Turkey. Halil Dervişoğlu entered play as a second half substitute on 66 minutes with Galatasaray trailing to a 20th minute goal from the away side.
The equaliser came just three minutes from time courtesy of Mostafa Mohamed. The side are left 11th in the league table but have another match on Tuesday as they head to Adana Demirspor.
Also in action in recent days was Jaakko Oksanen, who was a late substitute for Greenock Morton as they fell to a 2-1 defeat away from home against Arbroath. Goals from Colin Hamilton and Anton Dowds helped the side to a win as Morton remain bottom of the table. Next up for the side is Queen of the South at home on Boxing Day.
Aaron Pressley, Alex Gilbert and Ellery Balcombe all had their games postponed at the weekend following Covid-19 outbreaks at either their loan club or at their opponents' in the Football League.
