Craig Pawson has been a referee since 1993, working his way up the Football League ladder since the 2008/09 campaign.

The Sheffield & Hallamshire FA referee was then placed in the Select Group of Premier League officials from the 2013/14 season.

Pawson has been involved with Play-Off, League Cup, and FA Cup finals, as well as refereeing in the Champions League, Europa League, and World Cup qualifiers.

Sunday will be only the fifth time the 42-year-old has been involved in a Brentford game. His four previous Bees outings have all ended in home wins, with us coming out on the right side of two of them. Our victories have been at home to Bristol Rovers in February 2011 and Huddersfield Town in September last year, the first league game played at the Brentford Community Stadium, while the defeats were at Chester City in October 2008 and Stevenage in March 2013.

The Sheffield-born official has shown 68 yellow cards and five red cards this season in 16 matches across the Premier League, Europa Conference League, and World Cup Qualifying.
