Our next scheduled Premier League outing is our Boxing Day visit to Brighton and Hove Albion, kick-off 8pm. The Bank Holiday timing will likely affect supporters' journeys to the Amex Stadium. With that in mind, The Seagulls have provided further updates for supporters ahead of the game.
Fans are reminded to avoid Village Way on Boxing Day, when we take on Brentford in our next Premier League home match.
As supporters are aware, there are no rail or public bus services operating on Boxing Day.
The club will be putting together an extensive travel operation with additional parking, park and ride and shuttle bus services, while Seagulls Travel will be bringing a record number of buses and coaches to the match.
All of this will make Village Way very busy, so we ask supporters that plan to be dropped off and picked up to use car park 5 (the Sports Hall car park) at the University of Sussex.
This is a short walk through the underpass, which leads to Falmer Station, followed by a walk over the railway bridge to the Amex stadium.
Please avoid Village Way on the night.
Below you can find further information from The Seagulls about Boxing day travel arrangements.
Park and ride
At this point, we can confirm Park and Ride sites to the Amex Stadium from the following locations:
- Brendon’s Equestrian Centre – Pyecombe*
- ASDA – Hollingbury*
- Sainsbury’s – West Hove*
- Mill Road – Patcham
- Brighton Racecourse
Please note, ASDA, Sainsbury’s and the Equestrian Centre will require booking in advance, due to limited parking spaces. Details of how to book will be advised soon.
The club is also working in conjunction with Seagull Travel and Brighton & Hove buses to provide buses and coaches to service all the park and ride sites.
Additional parking will be made available at the University of Sussex, adjacent to the Amex Stadium.
Our travel partner, Seagull Travel, have booked additional coaches to their normal services. To book your place, visit eventtravel-hub.co.uk
*These three Park and Ride sites will need to be pre booked. Brentford supporters can pre-book their space but will need to register beforehand. All P&R sites are open at 17:00. The other two P&R sites are on a first come basis.
