Brentford’s first away game of the 2021/22 of the season ended in a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace yesterday. The Bees probably had slightly the better of the contest but both teams hit the woodwork with neither side doing quite enough to take the win. The Bees spent more time on the front foot in both halves, but David Raya did have to earn his clean sheet with a couple of saves.

After the game, Thomas Frank and Kristoffer Ajer spoke to the Premier League broadcasters. Thomas told the BBC that he wanted more from the game than just a point. His interview can be seen in the report here.

Kristoffer spoke to the world TV feed immediately after the game. He came straight off the pitch and spoke live to the Premier League's broadcasters. His interpretation of the game was heard all around the world.

"I am extremely proud of the lads," said Kristoffer. "We knew this was going to be an extremely tough game, we managed the game, defended well and kept a clean sheet. We are happy to get a point but are a little bit disappointed as we always try to win.

"We created a few chances and a few half chances, but it wasn't to be in attack for us today. We are strong defensively because we work hard from the top. The backroom staff also work all week. We are happy with the start, but this is just the start. I am loving it here. It's been a great first month."
