Brentford FC was the subject on a detailed feature in today's Sunday Times. We welcomed David Walsh, Sunday Times Chief Sports Writer, to our new stadium earlier this week. He had a look around and turned it in to a feature that appeared in the paper today, Sunday 8 August.

David was taken around the stadium by Jon Varney, our Chief Executive. He then spoke at length to Rasmus Ankersen, Co-Director of Football, to get the lowdown on the Club on and off the pitch. It helped inform his piece.

"We are standing on a bridge on Lionel Road South, alongside Brentford Community Stadium," writes David. "Five days from now a new Premier League season will begin inside this ground. Brentford against Arsenal. Seventy-four years have passed since they met in the top tier of English football."

The feature can be read in full here. It is behind a paywall.
