The fixtures have been released, our new kits have been revealed, the pre-season friendly matches are underway, Broadcast selections have been announced for August and September and the countdown is on to the start of the Premier League season. Brentford's first ever Premier League game will be the first in the 2021/22 top flight. We will welcome Arsenal to our new stadium next Friday, 13 August, for a match that will kick-off at 8pm and be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

If any fans have not seen the full fixture schedule, it is available here. The Bees have three games in August with matches away to Crystal Palace and Aston Villa to follow the Arsenal clash. Broadcast selections for August have been chosen while September live matches have also been announced.

We last met Arsenal on 26 September 2018, in the Third Round of the Carabao Cup. Arsenal won 3-1 in North London despite a memorable free kick from Alan Judge. The teams have not met in league competition since the 1946/47 season, Brentford's last in the First Division. The teams met at Griffin Park on the final day of that season and The Bees were relegated before defeat to The Gunners on 26 May.
