Brentford's first month of the Premier League season has seen them take four points from a possible six and progress in the Carabao Cup. That month will end on Saturday with their third league game of the season. This time, it is a trip to Birmingham to take on Aston Villa in a match that will be played on Saturday, 28 August, and kick-off at 3pm.

The Bees started their league campaign with a win over Arsenal and a draw away at Crystal Palace. They have not yet conceded a goal in the Premier League and sit eighth in the early table. They will look to build on that record on Saturday.

Aston Villa started the season with defeat away to Watford. They scored two late goals but were unable to complete a recovery from 3-0 down. Villa beat Newcastle United 2-0 last weekend and then Barrow 6-0 on Tuesday night to book a place in the Carabao Cup Third Round.

Villa currently sit tenth in the table and will climb above The Bees with a win on Saturday. This is their third season back in the top tier after winning promotion in 2019 under former Brentford Head Coach Dean Smith. After avoiding relegation on the last day of the elongated 2019/20 season, they finished 11th last term.

Brentford and Villa spent three seasons together in the Sky Bet Championship and The Bees had the better of things. The games at Villa Park all ended in draws, the last of which was a memorable 2-2 when the hosts equalised with the last kick of the game. Brentford won all three games at Griffin Park.

The last tickets for the match are currently on sale to Season Ticket Holders and My Bees Members. They are only available for the Box Office at our stadium. Full ticket information can be seen here.

The match will not be live on UK TV but Brentford fans can listen live on Bees Player. Full information on the service can be seen here. Bees fans living overseas should check this page to see if they can watch the game live.
