The young Bees will once again take on a National League side as they play their sixth match since returning for pre-season. The match, which will kick-off at 7pm, is open to supporters at AFC Totton with ticket details below.

Neil MacFarlane’s thoughts

The Brentford B Head Coach is once again expecting another tough clash with The Spitfires having had two matches against them last season. With the side having had a positive pre-season campaign, Neil says they're excited ahead of another fixture.

Last time they met

Hayes & Yeading played host to the sides' last meeting towards the end of last season. They played out a goalless draw as each team cancelled each other out with some strong defensive performances. Prior to that, they met earlier last season as Eastleigh ran out 3-0 winners at the Silverlake Stadium.

Get to know Eastleigh

The Spitfires get their season under way on Saturday 28 August when they welcome Wrexham to the Silverlake Stadium in a 3pm kick-off. The side, who are managed by Ben Strevens, will be aiming towards the top end of the division and to better their ninth place finish last season. The side have lost just one of their six games in pre-season so far in a campaign which began with a 3-2 defeat at Met Police. Following that they beat the likes of AFC Totton and Salisbury City before also beating Winchester City 3-1 on 9 August.
