The draw for the Third Round of the Carabao Cup will be held tonight, Wednesday 25 August. The draw will be live on Sky Sports this evening and information will be on Club and Carabao Cup channels. It will be held at the conclusion of the West Bromwich Albion v Arsenal tie, which is live on Sky Sports this evening.

The draw will include 25 teams that reached the Third Round by winning Second Round ties. It will also include the Premier League teams that received a bye to that stage as they are in European competition. There will be 32 teams drawn in to 16 ties.

Brentford reached the Third Round with a win over Forest Green Rovers last night. The Bees were a goal down but recovered to win. Second half goals from Yoane Wissa, Bryan Mbeumo and Marcus Forss saw The Bees through.

Brentford will be looking to repeat the success of last year. The Bees beat four Premier League sides on their way to the Semi-Final. It was the first time Brentford had ever reached the last four of a major competition. It was also only the third time ever, after the 1982/83 and 2010/11 seasons, that Brentford had got past the Third Round.

Brentford's run came to an end against Tottenham Hotspur. The Bees head beaten Southampton, West Brom, Fulham and Newcastle United to reach that stage. Tottenham then lost to Manchester City in the Final in April.

The Bees will be ball number three in the draw. There are 15 Premier League teams already guaranteed to be in the draw with Arsenal, Newcastle United or Burnely, who play each other, and Southampton able to join that group this evening. Only Crystal Palace, who lost to Watford, have gone out so far. The full lost of ball numbers can be seen here.
