Brentford B forward Aaron Pressley netted his first goal for AFC Wimbledon on Saturday since joining the club on loan for the season.
The young striker helped The Dons come back to draw the game at Plough Lane against Bolton Wanderers in League One.
It was Wimbledon who actually grabbed the game’s first goal through Will Nightingale on 20 minutes before an Eoin Doyle penalty levelled things just three minutes later. Josh Sheehan and Oladapo Afolayan managed to put Bolton ahead on the road but for two quick fire goals from The Dons.
Aaron stepped up to finish from the penalty spot on 74 minutes after coming on as a second half substitute to reduce the deficit as he kept his cool, whilst Dapo Mebude curled home just a minute or so later to confirm the draw.
The Dons are in league action once again tonight as they host Gillingham
As for Ellery Balcombe and his Burton Albion side, they picked up an excellent win late on over one of the league favourites Ipswich Town.
Burton went ahead on 19 minutes through Joe Powell before Tom O’Connor turned the ball into his own net to make it 1-1 shortly after. Ipswich had a chance to go ahead later on from the spot, but for a save from Ben Garratt, and with four minutes to go, Albion went and won it with a penalty of their own as Lucas Akins converted to make it a 2-1 win. Ellery remained on the bench for the fixture at the Pirelli Stadium.
Burton are at home to Sunderland this evening, once again at home.
