Referee: Dean Whitestone

Assistant Referee: Mark Pottage and Steven Meredith

Fourth Official: Charles Breakspear

Dean Whitestone is one of the longest serving referees in the professional game, having taken charge of his first EFL match back in 2005.

His first Brentford game was a 1-1 draw at home to Bristol City in October 2006 and since then he has gone on to referee a further 18 Bees outings, including our EFL Cup Fourth Round tie at Birmingham City in 2010.

After a two-year absence, the Northamptonshire official's three outings last season all came on the road. He was in charge of our defeats at Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday, before overseeing June's 3-0 win at Reading.

This campaign he was in charge of our 4-2 defeat to Preston North End in October and then our Boxing Day trip to Cardiff City which saw Sergi Canos net a hat-trick in the 3-2 win.

So far this season, Whitestone has shown 55 yellow cards and three reds in 28 matches.
