Tony Harrington to take charge at Deepdale

Match officials confirmed for trip to Preston North End

8 April 2021

A trip to Deepdale comes up on Saturday as we head to Lancashire to take on Preston North End. Victory over Swansea City on Monday moved The Lilywhites up to 16th in the Sky Bet Championship ahead of Saturday's game for which the match officials have now been confirmed.

Referee: Tony Harrington

Assistant Referees: Shaun Hudson and Matthew Jones

Fourth Official: Darren Bond

Saturday's game will see Cleveland official Tony Harrington take charge of us for the third time this campaign.

Both the previous games this term, a 1-0 opening day defeat to Birmingham City and February's 3-1 win over Reading, have seen us as the away team.

All 11 of Harrington's Brentford games have been in the second tier, with six of the last seven coming on the road. Included in those games were away wins at Burton Albion in March 2018 and Rotherham United in early 2019.

In total, Harrington's Brentford games have ended with four wins, two draws, and five defeats.

So far this term, Harrington has shown 85 yellow cards and four reds in 31 matches.

Preston North End 2020/21

478 fouls – 15th in Championship

46 yellow cards – 21st in Championship

3 red cards – 6th in Championship

There is no VIP access for Season Ticket Holders and Premium Seat Members who froze their tickets for Saturday's game.

The only way to see us in action is with a £10 match pass (£7 international fans)
