EFL charity partner Mind will be running a special fund-raising event this summer and fans can join in. Mind are running the ultimate Yorkshire three Peaks challenge to raise funds and awareness for mental health. The event will take place in June and is being run in association with the English Football League - 'On Your Side' in aid of Mind.

The trek is part of the ongoing partnership between the EFL and Mind, the mental health charity. The EFL and Mind celebrated the two year anniversary of their ‘On Your Side’ partnership earlier this season. The partnership, which has been extended until at least the end of season 2021/22, was established in 2018 to raise awareness of mental health amongst fans and the wider public, help raise funds for Mind to deliver life changing services and improve the approach to mental health in the EFL and clubs.

Mind are heading to one of Britain’s wildest national parks, the Yorkshire Dales, for a 12 hour hiking challenge over the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks. Join in to raise funds and awareness for mental health. Bringing together people from across the football community, this challenge is a test of fitness, endurance and team spirit. While it lasts just one day, this challenge should not be taken lightly as the terrain is extremely varied involving some steep ascents and descents. Participants can expect to almost cover a marathon distance by foot – and ascend a total amount that exceeds the height of Ben Nevis!

When your register to take part in Mind United you will receive a welcome email with a digital welcome pack attached, with all the information you need to get started with fundraising! You'll also receive monthly emails from Mind keeping you up to date with how your fundraising is making a difference, plus all the extra information you need for the big day. Participants must be at least 17-years-old and commit to raise £450. There is also a £40 registration fee. More information can be found here.
