The young Bees are six games unbeaten with their last match a 2-2 draw against Sheffield United Under-23s at Bisham Abbey.

The team will take on a United XI at St Neots Town as the League Two side could give minutes to some First Team members as well as players from the club's youth sides.

Discussing recent form and the trip to take on Cambridge on Tuesday, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane said: “The template of how the first half panned out against Sheffield United is what we’re all about. We must drive that standard every single moment until the end of the season. I won’t let up on the group, just because we’re coming towards the end of the season. We're going to keep on trying to get better and better and we’ve got great momentum now so long may that continue.”

Cambridge are in a fantastic position in Sky Bet League Two as they currently sit in the automatic promotion places, second in the table on 71 points. They are six points clear of the play-off places and will be aiming to put together a consistent run going into the final weeks of the season in their hunt for promotion.

The side picked up a rare defeat at the weekend as they were beaten 4-1 at home by Exeter City, and they will aim to bounce back when they return to league action on Saturday when they travel to South Wales to take on Newport County.

We will provide updates of Tuesday’s fixture across social media as Neil MacFarlane’s side aim to make it seven matches unbeaten.
