Referee: Lee Mason

Assistant Referee: Edward Smart and Lee Venamore

Fourth Official: Gavin Ward

A Premier League referee since the mid-2000s, this will be the only the second time Lee Mason has taken charge of us since May 2015.

Beginning his career in his home town of Bolton in 1988, Mason worked his way through the non-league, reaching the Football League during the 2002/03 season.

Two years later he took charge of his first Brentford game, a 3-0 defeat to Peterborough United in August 2004. His second of our games that campaign was a 1-0 FA Cup Fourth Round replay win at Hartlepool United. That afternoon he sent off Jack Ross and awarded us an early penalty in the north east.

Appointed to the Premier League in 2006, Mason's only two Bees assignment of the last 16 years were the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Semi-Final second leg against Middlesbrough in May 2015, which ended in a 3-0 defeat, and November's 0-0 Sky Bet Championship draw at Wycombe Wanderers.

So far this season, the Lancashire official has shown 38 yellow cards, and two reds, in 20 matches.

Watford 2020/21

601 fouls - 3rd most in the Sky Bet Championship

79 yellow cards - Most in Sky Bet Championship

2 red cards - 16th in Sky Bet Championship

This weekend, we will be joining the rest of football in a boycott of our social media channels to say that Enough is Enough and more must be done to tackle online abuse. That means the only coverage of our visit from Watford will be on iFollow Brentford.

Season Ticket Holders and Premium Seat Members have VIP access while match passes are also on sale for £10 (£7 international fans).
