Brentford B winger Joe Adams has returned from his loan spell with Sky Bet League Two side Grimsby Town. Joe joined The Mariners on 1 February 2021 and turned out six times for the side, scoring once against Crawley Town on 23 February. That goal earned Grimsby a win that afternoon and they took five points in his six appearances.

The 20-year-old gained important experience in matches against the likes of Leyton Orient, Colchester United and Mansfield Town in March before going on international duty with Wales Under-21s last month. Whilst on international duty, Joe scored his first goal for the Under-21 side as they took on the Republic of Ireland Under-21s in Wrexham.

Joe will now join up with Neil MacFarlane’s side as they prepare for their match with a Cambridge United XI on Tuesday, 13 March, away from home.
