THE OPPOSITION
Millwall's quest to make the jump from top-half regulars to genuine promotion contenders was derailed this season by a horror run of just one win in 15 league matches between October and January.
Were it not for that run then The Lions would very much still be in the Play-Off shake-up heading into the final five games of the season. Either side of that run they lost just one of their first eight and have won eight of their last 14 to climb back up into the top-half.
Only the top five have lost fewer games than the The Lions this term but it's their 16 draws, comfortably the most in the division, which have really held them back.
Gary Rowett's side have lacked the goals to turn one point into three; having found the net just 41 times in 41 matches. They do tend to score, just not necessarily heavily enough to put games to bed. Aside from a 4-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday, The Lions haven't scored more than twice in any league game this season. On the flip side, of the sides outside the top three, only Nottingham Forest have conceded fewer than Millwall's 40 this campaign.
Their record against the teams above them is also solid, if not spectacular. While Rowett's side have only one win against a top eight side in 13 attempts this term, that coming away at Reading in February, they've also only lost three of those 13.

It's as you were for Thomas with Henrik Dalsgaard (knee), Shandon Baptiste (knee), Rico Henry (hamstring), Josh Dasilva (hip), and Luka Racic (back) set to miss out again.
For Millwall, Shaun Hutchinson (calf), Ryan Leonard (ankle), Matt Smith (foot) and Ben Thompson (unspecified) are all out tomorrow.
THE MANAGER
Gary Rowett took over at Millwall in October 2019, ten months after his short-lived spell with Stoke City came to an end. His 16-year player career saw him make appearances for Everton, Derby County, Leicester City and Cambridge United. He stepped into management after a spell with Burton Albion.
Rowett took Burton to the Sky Bet League Two Play-Offs in both of his first two full seasons with The Brewers. He then moved to St Andrew's to rescue Blues from relegation in the 2014/15 season. Coming in with them in the bottom four, he took them to tenth before repeating that finish a year later. After leaving Birmingham in 2016, he had spells with Derby County and The Potters before pitching up at The Den.
