Due to Brentford B's current fixture schedule for the rest of the campaign it is not possible to commit to the completion of the tournaments, therefore the decision has been made to withdraw from this season's competitions. The Club will look to re-enter both competitions during the 2021/22 season.

Brentford B Technical Lead Allan Steele, who plays a key role in the development of the B Team fixture schedule, said: "Though we were very keen to continue our progress in both cup competitions this season, the timing of the restart does not coincide with our current fixture schedule until the end of the campaign.

"The competitions act as an opportunity for our young players to experience competitive action against senior teams and we will look to enter the tournaments once again next season. We would like to wish the best of luck to both the London FA and the Middlesex FA as well as all of the competing teams ahead of the restart."

The side had begun their London FA Senior Cup campaign back in October last year with a 6-2 victory over Hendon FC in the Second Round, and due to the Covid-19 lockdowns they were unable to play their next fixture. As for the Middlesex FA Senior Challenge Cup, the side were yet to play their first fixture against Hanwell Town, and now having withdrawn from the competition, that game will now no longer go ahead.
