The match will take place at Gosport Borough’s Aerial Direct Stadium and the young Bees will aim to make it 10 unbeaten.

Last time out they picked up a 1-0 win over a Chelmsford City XI at The Powerday Stadium with Mads Bidstrup grabbing his first goal for the Club with a great strike from distance.

Looking ahead to the match with Portsmouth, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane says he expects a very different test to what they faced against Chelmsford on Wednesday evening.

He said: “I don’t expect Portsmouth to drop into a low block as much as Chelmsford, but with the variety of games that we have we know we’ll get a different test.

“We’re playing with real confidence at the moment and it’s a game which we will approach properly.”
