Brentford Football Club is pleased to announce that TRIBUS Watches has partnered with The Bees.

TRIBUS Watches has signed a three-year deal, which sees the luxury swiss watch brand become an Official Club Partner and Official Wristwatch Partner. As part of the new partnership, TRIBUS will be creating 1904 limited edition watches - the year Griffin Park was founded - with the timepieces featuring parts melted down from Griffin Park. The watches, manufactured in Switzerland, will all feature a backplate containing metal from the stadium’s handrails, a commemorative piece of Brentford history for fans that want to take a piece of Griffin Park with them into the Club’s future.

Having left Griffin Park this summer, Brentford’s home of 116 years, the Club will host its first home Sky Bet Championship game this Saturday with Huddersfield Town the visitors to TW8.

Launched in 2020, TRIBUS is a luxury Swiss watch brand led by three brothers, Jonathon, James and Jake Ward. Inspired to create their own brand by their father Chris, their focus is on collaboration, storytelling and precision engineering. TRIBUS places an emphasis on utilising Swiss production wherever possible, using Swiss-made movements and cases. Accompanied by bold imagery that aims to inject energy and humour into the straight-laced Swiss marketplace, TRIBUS lives by its motto: ‘Forget what you think you know’.

The partnership will see TRIBUS growing their brand awareness through a number of marketing assets including LED advertising and matchday big screen digital clock. The watch will be available to purchase on TRIBUS-watches.com before Christmas.

James Parkinson, Brentford FC Commercial Director, said: “Swiss engineering is second to none when it comes to watchmaking, so we are delighted to add TRIBUS to our partnership family as Official Wristwatch Partner. The 1904 limited edition range is an exciting opportunity for Bees fans to own a piece of Brentford history; we look forward to sharing more details soon.”

James Ward, Co-Founder and Managing Director at TRIBUS, added: “Football is a massive part of my life, so we at TRIBUS completely understand what it means to people. We are proud to collaborate with Brentford, a team with an innovative approach that has come from grassroots, similar to us as a brand. By taking a piece of the metal to include in the 1904 limited editions, we are creating something that captures the passion, history and nostalgia for people that have spent many a day at the stadium supporting their team. This model is created to pay tribute to Griffin Park and give a heartfelt thanks for the memories.”
