Robert Rowan, Brentford Football Club Technical Director, died at the age of 28 on Monday 12 November 2018. Popular with staff, players and fans alike, Robert had been Technical Director since February and had been with Brentford for just short of four years. He left a lasting legacy thanks to his work in scouting and the recruitment of players.

Brentford FC remembered Robert yesterday on his 30th birthday. Our players wore black armbands for the fixture against Birmingham City and Robert’s friends and colleagues at the Club marked his passing. Read tributes here.

Last year, we travelled to Scotland to talk to Robert’s family and friends about his life and legacy. See the film created below. You can also listen to the tributes played to Robert at his memorial service in December 2018 here.
