Brentford will continue their Sky Bet Championship season with their first home game of the league campaign on Saturday. The Bees began their Championship season with defeat against Birmingham City last week but bounced back by beating Southampton in the Carabao Cup yesterday. Huddersfield Town come to town on Saturday, 19 September, for the next league fixture.

The game, which will kick-off at 3pm, will be Brentford's first league game at their new home. The Bees beat Wycombe Wanderers on penalties in a Carabao Cup tie in their first home game of the campaign earlier this month. They will welcome another team that suffered an opening day defeat, as Huddersfield lost to Norwich City last week.

Huddersfield are in their second season back in the second tier after two years in the Premier League. They won at Griffin Park last season and took four points off The Bees despite battling relegation for much of the campaign. They also did the double over Brentford when winning promotion in 2016/17, including another 1-0 win at Griffin Park.

Saturday's match will, unfortunately, be behind closed doors. It will, however, be available live on iFollow Brentford. As per the EFL communication on the broadcast arrangements for the new season, all of a team's games not selected for live coverage by Sky Sports will only be available on that platform.
