The Danes currently top Group H by three points with three games left to play. They begin their final run-in with a trip to the Centenary Stadium, Ta' Qali, for a game against Malta on Friday 9 October, kick-off 4pm. After that is a visit from Jaakko Oksanen and Marcus Forss' Finland on Tuesday 13 October, kick-off 5pm. Should Denmark better Romania's results over these two games they will ensure passage through to next summer's finals in Hungary and Slovenia.

Mads has earned all four of his Under-21 caps during this unbeaten qualifying campaign. The central defender also has caps at Under-18 and Under-19 level.

The 21-year-old has made two first-team appearances this season, both of them coming in the Carabao Cup. He played in our 2-0 win over Southampton in the Second Round and also in last Tuesday's win over West Bromwich Albion. In between he was named on the bench for our 3-0 Sky Bet Championship victory over Huddersfield Town.
