Brentford B will take on Hendon in the Final of the London Senior Cup on Monday evening in a 7.45pm kick-off at The Powerday Stadium.
This competition has been carried over from the 2019/20 season as it was unable to be completed earlier in the year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Pleasingly, the London FA and the relevant clubs were keen to ensure that the trophy is lifted by one of the clubs, therefore it is set to come to a conclusion tomorrow night.
Neil MacFarlane's side managed to secure their spot in the Final with a Semi-Final victory over Erith Town in what was the last ever match at Griffin Park- a memorable 6-3 win.
Brentford B sealed their place having navigated their way past Beckenham Town, Harrow Borough and AFC Wimbledon before that Semi-Final win over Erith last month.
Hendon began by beating Cockfosters in the first round before navigating their way past Leyton Orient and Balham to set up a Semi-Final fixture with Wingate & Finchley. With the match at 1-1 going into extra-time, Hendon managed to seal the win with two late goals from Liam Brooks and Samrai Gebrai.
Supporters are allowed into this event but this is a limited number due to the Covid-19 restrictions. There are currently no more tickets available to purchase but supporters will be able to tune into the club's coverage across social media, with a full report and highlights published in the days following the Final.
