Said Benrahma is the latest to receive international recognition as he joins up with the Algeria National Team ahead of a pair of friendlies in the next week.
Both games will be played on European soil with The Desert Foxes taking on Nigeria on Friday, 9 October, at the Wörthersee Stadion, Klagenfurt, Austria, 7.30pm kick-off. Djamel Belmadi's side then head to the Cars Jeans Stadion in The Hague, Netherlands, for a game against Mexico the following Tuesday, 13 October, kick-off 8pm.
The games are in preparation for next month's Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Zimbabwe. The reigning Champions are in pole position to book their spot at the 2022 tournament in Cameroon, topping Group H with two wins from two so far.
Said has played three times for Algeria, registering an assist on his most recent outing against DR Congo last October. The 25-year-old made his first appearance of the season for Thomas Frank's side off the bench against Millwall nine days ago. He then struck twice in our 3-0 win over Fulham in the Carabao Cup Fourth Round on Thursday before another substitute showing against Preston North End yesterday.
