Referee: Dean Whitestone

Assistant Referee: Mark Russell and Rob Smith

Fourth Official: Tim Robinson

Dean Whitestone is one of the longest serving referees in the professional game, having taken charge of his first EFL match back in 2005.

His first Brentford game was a 1-1 draw at home to Bristol City in October 2006 and since then he has gone on to referee a further 16 Bees outings, including our EFL Cup Fourth Round tie at Birmingham City in 2010.

After a two-year absence, the Northamptonshire official's three outings last season all came on the road. He was in charge of our defeats at Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday, before overseeing June's 3-0 win at Reading. In total we have won seven, lost six, and drawn four of his 17 games in charge.

So far this season, Whitestone has shown three yellow cards in three matches.
