Patrik Gunnarsson has been named in the latest Iceland Under-21 squad for two crucial European Championship Qualifiers over the next ten days.
Iceland currently sit third in Group A, a point behind Italy who they play in Reykjavic on Friday, 9 October, kick-off 4.30pm. After that they head to the Stade Émile Mayrisch for a game against Luxembourg on Tuesday 13 October, kick-off 4pm.
Patrik has been included in the squad for both games as he looks to build on his eight caps at Under-21 level.
The 19-year-old is currently on loan with NordicBet Liga leaders Viborg FF in Denmark. Patrik has started VFF's last three matches, keeping a clean sheet on debut against HB Koge.
