After reaching the last eight of the Carabao Cup for the first time in the Club's history, Brentford return to Sky Bet Championship action this weekend. The Bees beat Fulham 3-0 last night in the Carabao Cup and are back at home for their next league game on Sunday, 4 October. Preston North End will come to West London for a game that will kick off at 2pm.

Brentford have won one, lost one and drawn one in the league so far this term. The Bees drew away at Millwall in their last Sky Bet Championship fixture, earning a point through an Ivan Toney penalty. They are tenth in the early league table but are likely to start the game a little lower with most teams in action tomorrow.

Preston have not had the best start to the season. They have suffered two home defeats so far this term, losing to Swansea City and Stoke City. They picked up their only point of the season in a draw away at Norwich City and sit 19th in the table. They reached the Third Round of the Carabao Cup before bowing out to Brighton and Hove Albion.

The match will, unfortunately, be behind closed doors. It will, however, be available live on iFollow Brentford. As per EFL communication on the broadcast arrangements for the new season, all of a team's games not selected for live coverage by Sky Sports will only be available on that platform. See more here.
