Match Preview: Hendon v Brentford B

Young Bees begin 2020/21 Cup campaign

20 October 2020

Brentford B are in London Senior Cup action this evening when they travel to Hendon in a 7:30pm kick-off at Silver Jubilee Park.

The match, which will be hosted by Hendon, is a Second Round fixture with both sides having been given byes in the First Round of this season’s competition.

The sides met just over one month ago in the Final of the 2019/20 competition which had been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. On the night, the game went to extra-time in a closely fought encounter which was won late on when Shaun Lucien fired home a penalty to win the trophy with a 1-0 win.

Neil MacFarlane’s side will be looking to go one better this season and try to win the trophy, but they will have to navigate their way past a confident Hendon side who will be looking to do the double over the young Bees.
