The game will be the first match for Neil MacFarlane’s side since they returned from their two-week isolation period following a positive test for Covid-19 following the London Senior Cup Final with Hendon on 14 September.

The young squad have been back hard at work at Jersey Road, though, and will be looking to continue what had been a positive start to the campaign with some eye-catching results.

Prior to that narrow defeat against Hendon in the Cup Final, the side had recently pulled off an impressive victory over a strong Crystal Palace XI.

They will now take on a Bromley side who have been in preparation for their National League campaign. Their first fixture of the season was due to be played on Saturday but due to their match with Macclesfield Town postponed, the match will go ahead against Neil MacFarlane’s side.

Last season Bromley finished in 13th place after the decision was taken to conclude the National League season on points-per-game basis. Brentford B actually came up against Bromley last season in a friendly fixture at Jersey Road which The Bees won 6-2 with a hat-trick from Dru Yearwood as well as goals from Joe Hardy, Tom Field and Jayden Onen.
