The win puts the side on six points for the season as they sit in seventh place, four points off of top place Alanayspor.

Patrik Gunnarsson was also involved in game time this weekend as he played the full 90 minutes as Viborg FF drew 2-2 away at Esbjerg to stay top of the table. Patrik’s side took the lead after 22 minutes through Jacob Bonde before the hosts levelled 11 minutes later through Jakob Ankersen. Viborg would get back in front just before the break, though, Sebastian Grønning finding the net as the side took a lead into the second period. They were unable to hold out for the win as Esbjerg’s Andri Rúnar Bjarnason ensured the home side would take a point away from the match.

In the Football League, Luka Racic’s Northampton Town travelled away to Bristol Rovers and fell to a 2-0 defeat. Brandon Hanlan and Jack Baldwin did the damage for the home side with both of the goals coming in the second period against a Northampton side who were reduced to 10-men on the hour mark when Joe Martin was sent off for two yellow cards. Luka played the full 90 minutes for Keith Curle’s men.

Also, in Sky Bet League One, there was another start for Jaakko Oksanen as his AFC Wimbledon side hosted Accrington Stanley. Unfortunately for Jaakko it would be the first league defeat of the season for The Dons as Stanley came from behind to win 2-1.

Ryan Longman scored the opener of the game for the home side on 18 minutes before two quickfire goals ensured Accrington would take the points as Ross Sykes and Matt Butcher struck just before the break.

In Sky Bet League Two there would be another start for Arthur Read as he played the first 66 minutes as his Stevenage side hosted Salford City at The Lamex Stadium. There was just one goal in it as Ashley Hunter scored after just two minutes to confirm the win for City.

There was no action for Joel Valencia’s Legia Warsaw, who play their next match on Friday evening against MKS Cracovia Kraków.
