In a rematch of the 2019/20 Final, which was held just a few weeks ago on 14 September, the sides have been paired together after both receiving First Round byes in this season’s competition.

The Final last month went right to extra-time as the young Bees were narrowly beaten by a late Shaun Lucien penalty as Hendon lifted the trophy at Hanwell Town’s Powerday Stadium.

Discussing the fixture programme for Brentford B and the chance to play against men’s teams like Hendon, Head Coach Neil MacFarlane said: “In this competition we come up against some really physical outfits, different styles, and different types of games which is the most important thing for the players’ development.

“They will feel the hurt from the defeat in the Final but when we go into these tournaments this coming season then, hopefully, we’ll get over the line.
