The Bees took the lead inside two minutes, Shannon Read netting her first goal. It was a composed finish and a great start to the afternoon's action. They soon doubled the lead through Jasmine Williamson, finishing off a low cross from Harpeet Heer.

Alexandra Park threatened to score in the early stages but that soon fell away to the dominance on display from the home side at Bedfont Sports. Williamson added a third for Brentford after closing down the opposition, winning the ball and tucking a neat strike under the keeper.

The fourth started at the feet of Karen Abou-Abdallah, who saw a shot blocked. It fell kindly for Read to strike perfectly into the top right corner of the goal. Brentford grabbed a fifth after a goal mouth scrabble. The ball ended up in Park’s net as Ruby Sumpter ran away celebrating.

Read completed her hat-trick with a near finish all of her own making. Her fourth, Brentford's seventh, was spectacular. Dropping on the edge of the box, she lifted her volley over the top of the keeper and it dropped nicely below the crossbar.

Larique McPherson-Maraj made it 8-0 with her first goal for Brentford Women's side. Read this time turned provider as her corner found the back post, where McPherson-Maraj took the ball down with her chest and struck low into the net.

The ninth came through an own goal before another first-time scorer, Tiara Allidina, took the score into double figures. Another corner was lobbed over to the back post, falling kindly for Allidina to touch and strike right into the roof of the net.

The game wouldn't be complete without a Kasey Clifford long-range effort. This time, it rounded off the scoring in the style of a free-kick on the wing. It was whipped across the face of goal and snuck in at the far post. 11-0 the final score.
