Street Sports sessions up and running

Youngsters given opportunities on local estates

23 October 2020

Streets Sports sessions run by Brentford FC Community Sports Trust are back up and running. Established in 2008, Hounslow Street Sports is an unprecedented partnership between the Trust and Hounslow Housing. Delivered on seven key estates and many others throughout the year, the project encourages young people to make positive life choices through a range of free sporting activities. Along with football, the project delivers boxing, ultimate frisbee, dodgeball, bike maintenance and educational workshops.

Sessions take place across the borough with Trust staff working at Haverfield Estate, in Brentford, and Ivy Bridge Estate, in Isleworth, among others. The Trust also delivers local youth clubs – providing young people with a safe environment outside school to relax and enjoy educational activities. You can see what sessions are on each day on the Trust's events calendar here.
