The young Bees’ last outing saw them beat Hendon 6-2 in the London Senior Cup Second Round, and this will be the second time this season that Brentford B have come up against Danny Searles men.

The sides last met in a friendly earlier this month when Neil MacFarlane’s side travelled away from home to play out an entertaining encounter. The National League side came on out on top in the 3-2 score line with one of the Brentford Trialists and Aaron Pressley getting the goals for The Bees. The side will be looking to use that experience on 10 October to turn out a better result this time around.

Valgeir Valgeirsson, who need twice on his debut against Hendon, will be pushing for more minutes to continue his fine start in a Brentford shirt, and there could be game time for Wraynel Hercules as he steps up his return from injury.

Aldershot are without a fixture in the National League this weekend following the news of positive Covid-19 tests at Notts County, who they were due to play against on Saturday. The Shots will be looking to return to winning ways against the young Bees following their 4-1 home defeat to Torquay United on Tuesday evening. Recent results for Aldershot have seen them exit The Emirates FA Cup to Woking after they had drawn 2-2 away from home against Eastleigh. One of their season highlights so far was their 5-0 away win at Dover Athletic on 13 October.
