Saïd Benrahma has been nominated for the Carabao Cup Round Four Goal of the Round award. Brentford's Algerian attacker scored twice last night as The Bees beat Fulham 3-0. That ensured progress to the last eight of the competition for the first time in the Club's history.

Saïd was involved in the first goal, scored by Marcus Forss. He then made it 2-0 just past the hour mark, finishing off a set piece. But it was his second and Brentford's third that earned him a nomination.

There didn’t look to be much on when he had the ball 25 yards from goal, within seconds he had spun on the ball, flicked it through the legs of Michael Hector and worked the room to bend a shot past the outstretched arm of Marek Rodák and in to the net. It was an outrageous piece of skill from Benrahma and definitively killed off the game. It may also earn him a Carabao Cup prize. See more below.
