The Brentford man played the full 90 minutes as the sides continued their preparations for next month’s African Cup of Nations Qualifiers. The fixture was won in the sixth minute of the game by Ramy Bensebaini’s goal.

Algeria will be back in action on Tuesday evening when they take on Mexico in Holland at The Car Jean Stadion.

There was also action for Tariqe Fosu who made his debut for Ghana as they took on Mali in Turkey at The Arslan Zeki Demirci Spor Kompleksi.

Tariqe played the full 90 minutes for Ghana as they were beaten 3-0 in a match where they fell behind after just three minutes through Hamari Traoré before El Bilal Touré netted another just after the break. Amadou Haidara grabbed a third for Mali on 75 minutes to wrap up the win.

The Ghanaian team will now remain in Turkey before they take on Qatar on Monday afternoon in another friendly fixture as Tariq and co will be bidding to turn out an improved result.
