Two fixtures will take place over a five-day period, with the first match at The Cape Coast Sports Stadium in Ghana before Tariqe and his teammates will travel to Sudan to play the reverse fixture in their bid to secure qualification for the 2021 tournament.

Tariqe will make up part of the 23-man squad for Ghana who will be looking to build on their good start to qualifying as they currently sit top of Group C with six points following wins over South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe, towards the end of 2019.

The 24-year-old was part of the Ghana squad last month as they played friendly matches against Mali and Qatar, losing 3-0 in the first match, before scoring in a 5-1 win a few days later.

The midfielder was part of Thomas Frank’s side who beat Luton Town 3-0 at the weekend, as he came on as a substitute in the 82nd minute at Kenilworth Road.
