Brentford's match away at Rotherham United next month will kick-off at 8pm. The Bees travel to Yorkshire on Tuesday 1 December for their Sky Bet Championship match against The Millers, who came up from League One last season. It was announced yesterday that the game would be televised by Sky Sports and the broadcaster has requested the fixture kicks-off at 8pm.

Rotherham have had a slow start to the campaign and have won just two of their first nine games. They currently sit 19th in the table but can climb tonight, perhaps as high as 15th, if they beat Luton Town. The Millers were promoted from League One last season on a points-per-game basis after the division was curtailed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Their record up until suspension, placed them second in the standings.

This is the fifth successive season Rotherham have begun the campaign in a new division. They were relegated from the Championship in 2017 and 2019 but bounced back immediately on both ocassions. The teams have been in the same division for five of the last seven seasons. Brentford have won six of the ten games between the teams in that table as well as six of the last eight and the last three in a row.
