Referee: James Linington

Assistant Referees: George Byrne and Michael George

Fourth Official: Dean Whitestone

Now in his 13th year as an EFL referee, James Linington, who hails from the Isle of Wight, will be taking charge of his 20th Brentford game on Saturday afternoon.

His first two Brentford games were both 1-1 draws at Griffin Park, against Lincoln City and Darlington, during Andy Scott's 2008/09 League Two winning season.

Following a 3-1 victory at home to Bristol City in January 2014, we went six matches and nearly five years without a victory under Linington, until a 1-0 win at home to Bolton Wanderers in December 2018.

That began a run of three straight wins under the experienced official which included our 3-0 success at home to Preston North End on the final day of the 2018/19 season and last June's 2-0 derby win over Fulham at Craven Cottage.

In total, we have won six and drawn three of Linington's games in charge.

So far this campaign, he has shown four yellow cards in four Sky Bet Championship and EFL Cup outings.
