Alex Revell’s side faced a long trip north to take on a Shrimps team who were pushing to get themselves into the play-off spots. Stevenage went ahead through an Aramide Oteh penalty as they searched for their first win in Sky Bet League Two since 19 September.

Jordan Slew then ensured that the points would be shared when he struck late on to make it 1-1, with Stevenage heading back down south 22nd and on eight points. Arthur once again got some significant game time as he completed another 90 minutes for his loan club.

There was also action for Northampton Town and Shrewsbury Town, but neither Luka Racic or Jan Žambůrek were involved in the match day squads for their loan sides. Shrewsbury picked up an entertaining 3-3 draw with Swindon Town at home, whilst Northampton slipped to defeat to Accrington Stanley at the PTS Academy Stadium.

AFC Wimbledon and Jaakko Oksanen were without a game once again with the side currently self-isolating due to positive cases of Covid-19. They were due to play Wigan Athletic.

Elsewhere on foreign soil, Joel Valencia’s Legia Warsaw and Julian Jeanvier’s Kasımpaşa S.K. did not have fixtures due to the international break.

There was international action for the likes of Said Benrahma, though, as well as Halil Dervişoğlu, who netted a hat-trick for Turkey’s Under-21s. Whilst there was also an important win for Patrik Gunnarsson and his Iceland U21 side. An international recap can be found here.
