Ivan netted eight goals in six games to surge to the top of the second tier scoring charts and earn a place in the Sky Sports Sky Bet Championship Team of the Month.

He began the month with three braces in as many games. The first came in our 4-2 defeat to Preston North End ahead of the month's international break. The 24-year-old then returned from the break to score both goals as we downed Coventry City at the Brentford Community Stadium as well as grabbing both in our 2-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

Although he didn't score against Stoke City, he did set up Marcus Forss for our first goal, returning to the score sheet last Tuesday with our goal in the 1-1 draw against Norwich City.

Those performances saw Ivan achieve the highest monthly ranking of any player in the second tier, and a place in the month's Best XI selection.

The summer arrival from Peterborough continued his good form with a goal against Swansea City on Tuesday night, taking him to ten in ten in the league this term. Only Jack Holliday in 1932/33 has reached the ten goal mark faster in an EFL season for us while Ivan is also currently the highest rated player in the second tier so far.
