Ivan arrived in the summer from Peterborough United and got off the mark with a penalty during our 1-1 draw against Millwall in late September, kicking off a run of seven goals in four games. After netting both during our 4-2 defeat to Preston North End, he scored twice in our successive victories over Coventry City and Sheffield Wednesday. That goalscoring run saw him equal the record of a single player scoring seven consecutive goals for the Club.

He set up Marcus Forss for his first goal against Stoke City and then got the opener during a 1-1 draw at home to Norwich City. His ninth goal in as many games to begin the campaign was our second during the 3-0 win over Luton Town.
