Henrik Dalsgaard and Mathias Jensen included in latest Denmark squad

Bees duo included for triple-header this month

3 November 2020

Henrik Dalsgaard and Mathias Jensen have retained their spots in the Denmark squad for a trio of games later this month.

Kasper Hjulmand's troops face Sweden in a friendly at the Brøndby Stadium next Wednesday, 11 November, kick-off 6.30pm UK time, before their crucial final two matches in Nations League A2.

Back-to-back wins over Iceland and England last month have catapulted The Danes into second, just two points behind group leaders Belgium, who they face in Brussels on Wednesday 18 November, kick-off 7.45pm, for what could be a winner-takes-all showdown on the final matchday. Before that, The Danes welcome bottom-of-the-table Iceland to Copenhagen on Sunday, 15 November, kick-off 7.45pm.

With Gareth Southgate's England level on points with Denmark ahead of their games against the same opponents, League A2 is shaping up for a dramatic finish.

October's round of international games saw Henrik make his 26th outing for Denmark while Mathias enjoyed a successful bow at senior level. The 24-year-old earned his first cap during The Danes 4-0 win over Faroe Islands and then came off the bench in the closing stages of their win at Wembley.
