Brentford FC Community Sports Trust released a new Soccercise video as part of Gunnersbury Park wellbeing week. The Trust is working with others on a new sports hub in the park. Gunnersbury celebrated wellbeing last week as it teamed up with Yoga Gunnersbury Park, Ealing Eagles and our Trust to give some ideas on how residents can enjoy and get some exercise in the facilities. See more here.

Designed to be undertaken either indoors or outdoors, Soccercise combines a variety of fitness exercises with a football. The class is delivered to music and based on repetitions of specific exercises (i.e. press-ups, squats, sit-ups). The videos are produced in partnership with the Premier League’s Kicks project.

As part of their support of wellbeing week, the Trust have released a new Soccercise video. The first proved to be a big success and more were released in April for fans to take part in. More followed in May and then in August. The latest is below.

A guide of how to use all the exercises can be found here.

The Soccercise video is also part of the #BeeWell campaign that encourages children and adults to stay active. The Trust aims to deliver educational and physical activity content to children and young people in the local area until normal practices return following the Covid-19 pandemic.
