Within the first five minutes Brentford took the lead through Ruby Sumpter. Shannon Read delivered a cross into the middle, which was tapped home from close range.

Moments later, The Devs doubled their lead, a through ball found Jasmine Williamson in on goal. She rounded the keeper and slotted the ball into the empty net.

Brentford scored a third through Read, Williamson this time playing a ball behind the defence for her striker to poke beyond the keeper.

Hamlets had a few chances in the early stages of the second half but nothing that troubled Hannah Iguchi in the Bees goal.

Tiara Allidina scored to make it 4-0 to the Bees. A Brentford throw-in fell to Allidina who struck the ball first-time into the top right hand corner on the half volley.

Sumpter added her second of the afternoon to make it 5-0. After a free-kick was initially saved, she latched onto the rebound to knock the ball in.

As is so often the case this season, Kasey Clifford joined the act with a goal from distance. This one a lob over the keeper after a great ball through by Eniola Idowu.
