The young Bees are unbeaten in four matches and last time out picked up a battling 1-1 draw against National League side Maidenhead United.

Prior to that they also claimed wins over Hendon, Aldershot Town and Leicester City Under-23s as Neil MacFarlane’s side picked up some great form.

With the match falling during the international break, the side will be without Valgeir Valgeirsson and Joe Adams with both players away representing Iceland and Wales respectively at under-21 level.

Those movements could well provide openings for more minutes for other members of the Brentford B squad with Lachlan Brook looking to gain more game time and step up his fitness following his debut against Maidenhead on Saturday where he played the final 30 minutes.

The young Bees last came up against a Chelsea youth side towards the end of last season when they travelled to Cobham and picked up a 2-0 win with the goals coming from Fredrik Hammar and Dru Yearwood back in February this year.

We intend to provide a live stream of the fixture on Thursday, going live around 10 minutes prior to kick-off, and we will also provide updates across social media as well as a match report following the game.
