Birthdays

Thomas Dougall (1921); 2 appearances, 0 goals

A winger signed in the summer of 1947 as we prepared for life after relegation to the Second Division, Dougall’s career never took off in West London. He made his debut on the opening day of the season as we lost 5-0 to Fulham and played just once more before leaving for Sunderland in November 1948. There he played four top flight games ahead of a stint at Yeovil Town. Dougall returned to West London in the 1960s for a three-year spell as manager of Hillingdon Borough.
