Griffin Park, Box Office and Shop closed to visitors in short term

No visitors allowed on site until Coronavirus issue has cleared

17 March 2020

Brentford FC has taken the decision to close Griffin Park to visitors given the ongoing concerns posed by Covid-19 (aka the Coronavirus). It was announced last week that The FA, Premier League, EFL and Barclays FA Women’s Super League and FA Women’s Championship agreed to postpone the professional game in England until at least 3 April and the Government advised yesterday that people should work from home if they can and avoid public gatherings. As such, the Club has introduced some new measures to protect staff and supporters.

The Club will be closed to all visitors until further notice. The Box Office and Club Shop will not receive those who turn up in person. Supporters can still buy online at shop.brentfordfc.com and can communicate with all staff via email using the Contacts page here. Many staff will, however, now be working from home and there will be no Visitors Reception at Griffin Park. More details on our Reservation Centre and Season Ticket sales process for our new stadium will follow in due course.

With our games away to Fulham and Reading and at home to West Bromwich Albion postponed, Brentford FC is advising fans to keep hold of all match tickets. It is currently planned that all tickets for individual games, and Season Tickets, will be valid for the rearranged dates of fixtures. There will be an EFL Board Meeting tomorrow, Wednesday 18 March, and no decisions have been taken on when the season will resume.

Brentford FC will keep all fans up to date as and when the situation changes. Most importantly, supporters should do all they can to keep themselves and others safe. Please to follow the guidance from the Government provided by Public Health England if presented with any symptoms - https://www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response.
