Community response to Coronavirus

Portal set-up to help fans find help in the Brentford area

21 March 2020

With many people now unable to leave their homes, Hounslow residents are working together to keep those in need safe. Due to the Covid-19 (aka the Coronavirus) outbreak, pubs and restaurants are now shut and large portions of the population are staying at home. A special group has been set up to help them.

Hounslow Covid-19 Mutual Aid is a group aiming to help those who may be quarantined due to the Covid-19 outbreak. This is a group set up to coordinate support in the London Borough of Hounslow. They will be looking to help people access food, complete errands etc - particularly those who are elderly, disabled and/or immunocompromised.

The group is to be found on the Facebook website and can be accessed here. The group are asking for it to be shared with people looking to help each other out during the coronavirus pandemic. Do you know any vulnerable or elderly residents living in Hounslow who might need help? Let them know.
